You will need to bring food supplies with you. There is a fridge with a freezer compartment. We provide basics – tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil.

We provide a large basket of logs that will typically last 2 nights. Additional logs are available from us for £10, or you can buy them at the Milestone petrol station in Rathfriland. We also keep a supply of wood by the firepit and you are welcome to use that in the fire pit.

Birch Cottage is designed for two adults – we do not accommodate people under 18 years of age, cannot accommodate pets of any sort.
There is parking for one vehicle, so please don’t bring visitors onto the site, paying guests only please

Early check in  / late check out are subject to availability and booking schedules. We charge £15 per hour for either when they are available and this option is made available at the time of booking.

The kitchen is well equipped for two people and includes:

• Gas hob
• Gas oven
• Toaster
• Kettle
• Fridge with freezer compartment
• Crockery, cutlery, bowls, glasses, mugs etc
• Pans, frying pan, scales

Lackan Cottage Farm is our home, so we ask only that you are considerate of noise while staying, and leave the spaces as you’d expect to find them. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in or around the property. 

Bringing additional people in / parties are not permitted.

Please don’t burn anything except wood or turf in the fires.

Please don’t use bleach or harsh chemicals in the sink or toilet.

We appreciate that accidents happen so if there are any breakages just us know.
